Hello, and welcome to my website!
My name is Ljupcho (pronounced “Yoop-choh”). I'm a Ph.D. Candidate in Mathematics at Washington University in St. Louis, advised by Brett D. Wick. I'm defending my thesis in May 2026.
You're welcome to attend my Ph.D. defense on May 21st. Details will be added soon.
Starting August 2026, I’ll be bringing energy, clarity, and a sense of community to my new courses at USC. Expect plenty of interactive problem-solving, real-world applications, and a classroom where every question is welcome.
My research lies in analysis, particularly harmonic analysis, with a focus on one-sided Calderón–Zygmund theory, weighted norm inequalities, and harmonic analogs in discrete settings. I'm the recipient of the 2026 Albert Baernstein II Award for the best Ph.D. thesis in mathematics at Washington University. More information about my research interests, presentations, and conference participation can be found under the “Research” page.
I'm also a passionate and award-winning educator, with experience across a wide range of courses, mentoring roles, and teaching development programs. In 2024, I was recognized with the Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence at Washington University. You can find more about my teaching experience and course history on the “Teaching” page. I share glimpses of my classroom community through class photos under the “Students” page.
